Elaine Mitchell Palmore's distinctive voice and powerful storytelling shine through in Fresh Fables, a series of children's books that present grown-up issues in a relatable way. Her authority comes from her 30 years of experience as an educator and administrator and from her own education: she holds a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee, a Masters Degree in Teaching from Belmont University in Nashville, and an AMS credential in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
Elaine has authored articles for several local and national publications, and facilitated workshops on Montessori philosophy, parent education, and teacher preparation. She is currently Director of the Child Development Center at Middle Tennessee State University.
